What is DAC – What is DAC in Hindi

Dacian The full form of this is “Digital-to-Analog Converter” and it is often called “dac.” Since computers can only understand digital information, the output generated by e-computers is typically in digital format.

But some output devices only accept analog input, which means that a digital-to-analog converter, or DAC, must be used.

The most common use is that of a DAC, using this digital audio can be converted into an analog signal. This conversion takes place in the sound card, which has a built-in DAC available.

The digital signal, which is actually a stream of ones and zeros, is transformed into an analog signal that later takes the shape of an electrical charge. This electrical charge is recognized mostly by speaker inputs and it is later sent to the output to the speaker system.

DACs are also used to convert video signals. If we talk about the old times, then most of the video displays, such as TVs and computer monitors use analog inputs.

Just a few years ago, digital displays are also being used more with DVI and HDMI connections.

Therefore, in order to output to a computer in an analog display, the digital video signal has to be converted into an analog signal.

This is the reason why all video cards that have an analog output (such as a VGA connection) There must be a DAC in them as well.

Anytime if a signal is converted from one format to another, then there is a lot of loss of quality in it. That’s why it is important that you have a high-quality DAC, even if you are converting audio or video signals only.

The same thing happens then you are doing the exact opposite conversion which requires an analog-to-digital converter, or ADC.
